Meet the Florist

In 2018 I graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a certificate in Floral Design. Under the guidance of AIFD certified designers I studied color theory, the principles of design, and much more. I even learned how to finally spell “boutonniere” which is a very important part of my resume, haha!

From my home to my floral portfolio I just love to see the way color can impact a space. Studying color theory opened me up to the language of color and I LOVE seeing the hues my couples choose for the day. We can tell such a story by the colors we pair together and we’re so lucky that Mother Nature has given be plenty of colors to choose from to customize your wedding palette make your day truly unique!

My Floral Design instructor always said “You have to know the rules before you break them” and I have done just that! From grocery store florist to Creative Director at a high - producing luxury wedding studio, technical know-how has become second nature and now I get to break the rules. Honing my personal style has lead to creating bespoke pieces that are whimsical, textural, and artistic so that your wedding is like no other.

We are a fully insured studio and equipped for grand installations as well as bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces and more. As a newly foam free studio, we seek to keep our practice as friendly to the environment as the circumstance allows.
